This keeps happening randomly and frequently lately. My keyboard and mouse will both stop working. Well if I left click it wants to right click and if I type in any keys it opens a menu on Firefox but doesn't actually type anything in. A reboot or even just a sign out fixes it every time but obviously it's annoying. Just can't figure out why it keeps happening.

Might help if you list what KB/M and how they're connected.

Are any other devices affected?

No other device affected.

They're Logitech connected through a usb hub, maybe the hub is the problem. But I have a Mayflash adapter that allows me to use a Wii U Pro controller and it does not have any issues and it's connected to the same hub.

I've had problems with a USB hub, the KB and Stream deck works fine but the mouse requires me to unplug the hub and plug in again.

Try plugging directly into the computer if you can.

Sorry it's 6 am here and I can't think straight, it's not the hub because it's a gaming laptop that's hooked up to my TV and on the laptop itself the keys also don't work until reboot.

While I doubt it would result in misinputs, USB hubs are known to cause issues if you plug in too many things at once (or particularly power-hungry hardware like hard drives) due to power constraints of connecting to just a single USB port. Powered USB hubs exist if you're willing to experiment, although a Y-cable could be a quick hack to identify whether it's a power issue or something else.

Maybe try the other devices on the hub and the KB/M directly plugged in? Even if it's just temporary for testing purposes.

Please see edit it's not the hub. The keys on the laptop itself are also not working when this happens until reboot.

It just did it again I was typing in firefox and it opens add ons page with that menu in the top left to restore minimize close etc...it always does this same thing. Had to sign out then it's back to working perfect until it does it again.

I just figured out the problem. My wireless keyboard's alt key is getting stuck down as if it's pressed. I believe it's causing the whole issue.

That'll do it. I was going to suggest an open-source keyboard testing app, but you've found the problem.
