I've recently bought one of the few US New 3DS's and fully followed Plailect's guide to successfully install A9LH.

I'm installing some of my cartridges as .cias on the new system, but my o3DS has all the DLC. I've already paid for and downloaded the DLC on my o3DS and intend to pay for any future DLC. However, I don't know how to transfer it to the n3DS. My o3DS (10.7.0-32) doesn't have a working entry point right now, but I might be able to setup basehax through my n3DS.

Could someone direct me to which tool(s) I need? I've looked around, but the stuff about tickets didn't make much sense.

To be clear, I'm wanting to move eShop installed DLC from my o3DS to my A9LH n3DS for use with .cia games.

Since the DLC is legit, why not just do a system transfer? That's the most easiest way to do it AFAIK and I'm pretty sure that DLC will also be transferred along to the target system

Also your NNID will be able to be used on your N3DS if done that way, so it's quite the plus...that is if the N3DS will be your main system from now own

I would do a system transfer, but I want to keep the DLC on both systems.

I'm planning on using both systems to have fun with streetpass.

If you transfer the DLC to the new 3DS, it won't be legit. So you may as well pirate it with CIAngel since it'll have the same effect.
Or, do a system transfer then pirate it on the o3DS.

Hmm... I have 2 alternatives for you

I believe (don't quote me on this) that CIAngel can download DLC as well so you can try your luck with that

If you don't dice with CIAngel, only thing you can do left is to go to that iso site and download whatever DLC you wish for in cia format and install

If I may ask, why wouldn't the DLC be legit?

?
I think you can get from the o#DS and install on the new one? them they gonna be " cloned" so somethinga like, for teh content
Them slimpy copy from the old SD
Doing that kills the eShop.

Nintendo's servers will think the console does not own them (they won't be linked to the console server-side). If the console has ever bought DLC or downloaded free DLC or even just viewed a game's shop page, the DLC will get deleted whenever that console visits the eShop.

It sounds like CIAngel is probably the way to go, but I still don't quite understand what tickets are.

It sounds like they might be the things that keep a record of your files so you can, for example, redownload from the eShop if you delete them? Maybe?

Really? My DLC has never been deleted before? I had some smash DLC on my o3ds and system transferred it to my xl and DLC has not been deleted once since entering eShop

That would mean you never bought DLC or got free DLC prior to pirating it. If you go all-pirate you are safe, as then no server-side ticket is created and it never thinks to look to see if you have anything you're not entitled to.

So, I can either install the tickets for the DLC and download from the eShop or install the tickets and then the CIAs manually? All I've done is dump the games with Decrypt9, convert them to CIAs using 3dsconv since it was recommended on the Decrypt9 github, and install them with FBI. There won't be any incompatibilities with that?

Third option, which is easiest, is just to get them straight from CIAngel.
Nope there shouldn't be any incompatibilities. However, in the future just get your games straight from freeShop or CIAngel. Don't have to worry about dumping or converting or anything like that (unless you're trying to get a game that isn't available that way)

Use ciangel to download the dlc (If it is available) Or find a DLC CIA for the game and install it.
If you already own dlc on your system then Just download from eshop. Just like the kitty with the glasses said. :)

Do it before she bites and scratches you. :P
