So it's been quite some time since we have gotten some much needed "stability" to our 3DS's. What do you think Nintendo is up to? Trying to kill Arm9loadherhax maybe?

Don't jinx it.
Nintendo didn't have the time when freaky had released because they were busy with e3.

This kind of threads are a nonsense. Nobody really knows about it.
i know! my dad works at nintendo!

Talking seriously, we are unable to know what Nintendo is currently doing atm

We don't know if they are patching something, if a new game is comming and you gotta update to that version, or even if they are trying to patch A9LH

Yeah, like updates are going do anything. Nintendo is going to add something stupid and useless again, and then fuck up with that, and then another exploit is going to be found. It's a never ending process. I think they are going to give up soon enough.

jk im just talking shit but who knows :^)

the Wii U itself hasnt had an update since January despite the kernel exploit being leaked back in May, two months later and no update.

Who the hell knows how Nintendo operates or maybe they are desperate for Wii U sales they are allowing the exploit to live.

I thought arm9loader is a hardware exploit and therefore cannot be patched. Only thing they can do now is change the design of the mobo for 3DS systems made now.

Someone feel free to jump in if I'm wrong.

Or by simply checking key2 in the secret sector...
Like they SHOULD have in the first damn place!
Though this could be done with a new version of arm9loader, it wouldn't mean much as the arm9loader used in hax is signed, as such when we inject it arm9 will use it normally (why we can use it on o3ds)
a9lh can be patched with a simple 2 stage update overwriting firm.
They can kill the installation of it however, or cut it off at the root and patch homebrew access.
Not true. Our code is already running, and can block Ninty's code before they can even try.

I said that.
They cant kill A9LH itself, just the installation of it. Like, if you buy a new console with 11.0 you can't put a9lh on it.

Also untrue, did you even read my post? The only thing they could possibly do is a hardware revision, which I'd assume would revoke Nintendo's signature and sign everything with a new one. But they aren't going to do that so late in the consoles lifespan.
