Hacking Unable to launch GW?

I got a new problem now. For some reason my GW card fails on my N3DS but runs flawlessly on my o3DS. What in the world is going on? Any ideas?

I'm not sure. I've never dealt with Gateway before. Do you have a gateway card, btw?

Well of course I do. I wanted to just stick to what I know. So I downgraded to 9.2, and put all my files on the SD card. But everything works except Gateway.

Never install Gateway A9LH.
When the system isn't running, it's write protected.
And you need the gateway card to boot it.
If you lose your card/damage it, you need to buy a new $80 piece of plastic to use your 3ds.

Not saying you don't, but the slotkeys aren't literally called slotkey.bin.
I just don't think we can name them here (correct me if I'm wrong)

Mkay, well. If you can't boot Gateway, I recommend just installing a CFW+EmuNAND setup.
I don't think you'll be able to use your Gateway card, but you'll be able to pirate and such and put your apps on the home menu.

Have you tried booting it from just Menuhax (no CTRbootmanager)? I can't think of any reason you are having this issue though, unless you do indeed have a partial downgrade. But that's unlikely, seeing how you can launch everything else.

Well quite a few games were ripped from my collection as rom so I cannot exactly use them that way. I looked into cia conversion once but it seemed like a pain. Still, I cannot understand the problem here. It works just fine on my o3ds and the SD card and all is set up the same.

Yes I have. Also from HBL. It just black screens. Using the browser doesn't do anything as well.

That's unfortunate. The only other entrypoints you can use are through Gateway's own OOT and Cubic Ninja exploits, or MSET. Honestly though, I think you should run Sysupdater to "downgrade" to 9.2 again, as there may be something missing on your system that GW requires. Of course, you aren't really downgrading again, but just reinstalling the 9.2 files. Which 9.2 firmware pack did you use? The packs from Plailect's 9.2.0 downgrade guide are recommended.

Out of curiosity, are you able to get community CFWs (ReiNAND, Luma3DS...) to boot to your EmuNAND? Or don't you have an EmuNAND already?

Uhm, yeah, run *sysUpdater again.

It'll just downgrade those titles, so don't be surprised if you think it was too quick to complete.
