What payload is on the root of your sd card? Bootanim9's payload needs to be on the root and lumas needs to be in the anim folder
Bootanim9's payload ? you mean the arm9loaderhax.bin inside bootanim9 folder?

edit: i managed to get the animation work, however luma3DS can't be loaded
it loaded decrypt9 instead.

and GW a9lh can't be trigger ( i press L+R to go to GW mode ).

ok,managed to get it work this time, however the animated gif is very very slow
the first time i tried it it was smooth.

edit: manged to edit the gif for PS1 boot screen and made it faster
this is the best tool on my 3DS now :wub::wub:

but some how more then 20 frames are cut after i convert them to anim file.

how frames makeanim can handle?

Is there a way to make it run while booting? (While the console is showing)

No. The CFW and BootAnim9 are two separate programs, and there's no way to do hardware-based threading on ARM9.

The CFW will always run after the animation ends (or if you skip it - is that still a feature, actually?)

Thanks! why is there a need for si vs non si anyway?

Because non-si doesn't turn on the display. The old rationale was not to even integrate the feature if you didn't need it, and most people used screeninit arm9loaderhax.

I'm not really sure why non-si is the default, though.

How do i edit the fps? some anim doesnt have any config file and when I try to view them using notepad or notepad++, it's just random, not a number.

It's the first byte in the config file. Notepad or any text editor can't see that stuff, use a hex editor instead. Remember that it's not decimal based, its hexadecimal so 30 is not 30, it's 48. 1E is 30

I'm getting a slideshow effect between frames when the animation plays on boot. Can anyone help with this?
