Looks like a great project. Although it seems safe, I'm going to hold off with installing this until it is confirmed stable with the CFW, or I can be bothered to finally hardmod my 3ds. But I am greatly excited to see this fully developed and look forward to testing it out later.

CFW? It will load what CFW? where the CFW files will be stored?

It will put all a9lh files needed in NAND, so the sd card isn't needed. After that, the goal is to stick SaltFW in there as well. A complete CFW solution without the constant need for files on an SD card. The CFW, SaltFW, will also reside in the NAND. I'm assuming due to all the unused space and now with the "perfect key" for more/larger injectors. Who knows what this is coming to. It is definitely a cool concept. SaltFW is a minimalist CFW based on Luma3DS. No chainloaidng, none of this, none of that. Simple, and easy to use. Benefits: smaller size. Hopefully small enough to hide in unused portions of the NANDs. Who knows.

It is in its very early stages and is pointless to anyone but developers. As of right now, an SD card is still required, and it seems that your otp.bin is also required, even if you've already a9lh'd. This'll be doing a9lhv2, which, as of right now, has zero benefits aside from possibly future proofing.

These advanced versions of A9LH are interesting, but ultimately not necessary for my needs. Standard A9LH with Luma really is all I will ever need. As such I see no need to bother with any other methods like this. I do think its cool that people continue to develop new things like this. I would be interested if a cfw/homemenu hack or whatever does manage to allow for more than 300 titles on the home menu, but until something like this comes around that can do that, I'll just stick with A9LH with Luma.

Bu-but you can boot without your sd card? :0
What more would you want?!

If I didn't hit your spoiler my response would have been what is the point? My 3DS is just about useless without an SD card, I'm certainly never going to have any use for it without the SD card. In fact, I'm at a point that it doesn't even make sense for me to even take the SD card out, unless I'm installing a hacked version of a large game.

My assumption is that when the CFW version comes out, it will still first look for arm9loaderhax.bin before launching the built in CFW. I didn't see anything about it in OP, but that is the only logical way I could think of doing it so that you still have access to other arm9 payloads.

iirc it would be installed as an altstage2, so that by default the normal stage2 will load the arm9loaderhax.bin

Is this N3DS compatible?
yes, most likely

Right now, from what I can tell, its a a9lh installer that allows you to boot without an sd card. Without the sd card you will be in sysnand with no cfw (obviously)
