Hacking Hacking my PS3 with my roote android in usb sharer mode.

Okay need help on how to do that without usb flash drive i can make my phone be recognized as a flash drive and restore backups and backup backups but what i really want to do is hack it with this like put mod menus on my games any help would be appreciated.

1) What you try to do is from the dongle age ... it's not needed anymore
2) What PS3 model do you have and on which FW is it?
3) What game? what mod?

I have a FAT ps3 and menus for bo3 or ghosts on 4.80 and i apologize if there isnt a way to anything at all i just seen so many things on the internet sayng mod menus on ps3 4.80 and it got really confusing so i wanted to get to the bottom of it and helped from the pros

To do anything with those kidna mods you need to have a CFW on your PS3.
Problem is, you are currently on 4.80, good news tho is that you can downgrade a FAT model.

You need hardware to so, so you might want to look after that first or someon who can do it for you.
After that you can install a CFW which is built from the latest OFW (4.80) and with that you can do whatever you want in BO3

Regarding the flasher, it realy depends on your PS3 model. There are 2 kinds of permanent storage chips inside the PS3. All the slims have so called NOR flashes, which can be downgraded with a E3 flasher.

As for the FAT, you have to look which CECHx model you have on the back, because there are FATs with NAND flashes (which get downgraded with either ProgSkeet flashers or NANDway) and NOR flashes.

The mods you are talking about happen locally, you connect to your modded PS3 via a local network and manipulate the game from your PC ... at least it looks like this, I just had a quick check over at se7ensins about BO3 mods on the PS3.
