So... you can see my specs in my signature,
My screen resolution is 1920x1080 and is about 21,5 inch sized.
So, with my specs, would I be able to switch to 4k? Do I have the correct GPU? CPU? and all...
If I switch to 4k, does my game would begins to lag/turn low in fps, or else?
also, if I'm all okay to switch to 4k, do you recommand anything to me as screen?
Minimum size? Like I won't see any difference from 1080p under 30 inches, or something like that?
Thanks for any advice :)

Theres no way for that card to run games at 4k
You need something like a GTX1080 if you want to play in 4k

4k gaming requires a lot of power, your GTX 760 was considered midrange at release 3 years ago.

4k gaming is hardly possible with GPUs out now, you need at least a GTX 980 Ti+ to get somewhat stable frames if you sacrifice some quality options, and a GTX 1080 if you want to max stuff out for the next year or so.

Nobody has any idea whether next gen consoles will actually run games at 4k, literally everything we know about them has been conjecture or rumors. The general consensus by people who know better is no, they won't, or at least only small titles will actually run at 4k.

I wouldn't recommend a gtx 1080 for maxed out 4k gaming. Of course that'd be my opinion. 30 fps, while playable, has different effects on various games. Games that are dependent on FPS for physics or gameplay speed would suffer. Dark souls 3 comes to mind. I've actually been temp banned for running on 4k with 980ti because my frames never went above 40.

I use 30fps as an example. I'm well aware that the 1080 is more than capable of handling some newer games at 60+fps @4k.

The 960 wouldn't be able to handle playable framerates at 4k.. Unless your settings are on low... That's no fun.

So far, a majority of benchmarks show the 1080 being remarkably stable with 4K gaming at 60fps. The only games out now that really don't work that well are games that aren't optimized very well, or at least aren't optimized for 4k (GTA V, for example).

Also, there hasn't been a single ban over low FPS for DS3, dunno what you're talking about there.

1060 gonna top the 960 of course, but no way a 1060 gonna give 4K games, a 1080 barely handle 60fps on some games (GTA V is 50-60 all maxed in 4k on a 1080), a SLI of 1080 is "RECOMENDED" to 4K, and a single 1080 is the minimum for 4K, nothing else. (Dont know about AMD, but to be honnest, i don't care, their support is pure crap)

Well, not a ban, but I couldn't play online. Kind of the same thing in my eyes.

.. And I'm aware that the 1080 is a capable 4k card.. But graphics are only getting better. I can only imagine how long the card will be able to keep up. I'm holding out until the next Titan or ti. If there will be one.

"Low quality 4k gaming"
LOL.

i prefer frames over graphics.
the gtx 970/r9 390 CAN play gta v at low/mid settings in 4k and get about 40 fps.
Also @DarkFlare69 , nvidia generally suck when it comes to the budget end gpu's. go amd if you are looking a the mid tier lineup

The RX 480 looks promising. Can't wait to see the higher end of that lineup.

But Nvidia gives kick ass drivers with awesome "pluses" builtin. I think it worth the "plus" of money to put if you can afford it, but yeah, if you don't want to spend that much, of course go for AMD on the same performances :)

Of course performances speaking, if you only want that go for AMD, I just say that if you really want to go full enthusiast, you gonna want NVIDIA PCSS, HBAO+, Physx, TXAA, and for 1080p players, DSR is also great, we are talking about maxed 4K, so i'm assuming that somes want top notch features, Nvidia got theses "luxury features" that you need only if you really want an impressive rendering, but yeah, it cost an arm x). This is needed to go full enthusiast !
