I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say they are located in the GardenSound.bcsar, but can anybody confirm this?

Could you tell me what you mean by "sequenced"?
Also what is a SF rip?
Sequenced audio is different from streamed audio. Streamed audio is like an MP3 file, that is, audio is played through a waveform. Sequences are different. They contain information on how a note is played and for how long, but there is no accompanying audio samples - those are provided externally through sets of samples of audio. Think of it as sheet music and various instrument players. The players play the notes on the sheet of music as it instructs, and when all put together makes the music.

As for *SF rips, it's just a generic name for different sound rips that games can have. GSF is for Game Boy Advance, NCSF is for Nintendo DS, USF is for Nintendo 64, NSF for NES, etc etc.
