Homebrew Is the emunand region locked?

Hi guys, i wanted to know because i plan to buy Zero Time Dilemma, US version, and to play it with my EUR 3ds. Can I play it directly in the emunand or should i do some things before to remove the region lock ?

emunand/sysnand - it is not important.
the cfw you use (gw/luma/ntr) is important, that will give you region free.

If not all, CFWs have RF applied to them, surely.

I use rxtools, and i can play jap Cias already, so maybe i worry for nothing. Thx for the help

iirc you can't use out of region carts with RxTools. Because it patches the RF on an arm11 thread. CFWs like Luma, Reinand and Cakes fully patched it

really ? Maybe i should change my cfw then. Is it difficult to pass from rxtools to luma or reinand ?
Or maybe i can stay with rxtools and patch some things ?

Switching to Luma is very easy. Place the Luma files on the SD card and boot it through your preferred *hax entrypoint. No additional setup is necessary.
