I am currently using the gw arm9loaderhax file. Does anyone know how i can use that file as a payload in the luma folder and to autoboot it but still have the option to boot luma on a button?

Arm9select

Here is a custom arm9select arm9loaderhax.bin to place on root of mSD/SD

payloads go in /luma/payloads

default is GW named as GW.bin
other payloads can be as follows:
a.bin
b.bin
x.bin
y.bin
up.bin
down.bin
left.bin
right.bin
l.bin
r.bin
select.bin
start.bin

I have a custom arm9select that loads all payloads from the payloads folder on mSD/SD root. My default is ReiNand (CFW.bin), Gateway (l.bin), Luma3DS (r.bin), Uncart (start.bin), and Decrypt9WIP (select.bin). Works great for me. If you try the one I linked here I hope it works as you desire.

Does your A9LH have screen init? I use this in conjunction with @FIX94 A9LH fork, but it should work fine for any A9LH fork with screen init. Please post here once you get a method working whether it be my attempt at what you desire or @Temptress Cerise recommendation of BootCTR9.

Using a button to load luma makes it hard to boot into either 9.0 sysNAND or normal sysNAND. I believe L boots Luma in 9.0 sysNAND mode.

I used r.bin to load into normal sysNAND mode on Luma3DS as GBA will not play in 9.0 sysNAND mode (so I could not use l.bin for Luma3DS)

Exactly what are you trying to do in Luma3DS and are you a fellow emuNAND user like me or do you utilize updated sysNAND?

I don't check any of the config options in Luma. This way setting Luma3DS to l.bin would always launch in 9.0 sysNAND mode (not desirable for me). Setting Luma3DS to r.bin would always launch in normal sysNAND mode (what I require to use my custom GBA VC), to load Luma3DS emuNAND by default I think you would have to use any other button with the exceptions of a,b and select (since b selects second emuNAND, a is the overide when Luma reboots into sysNAND and select is the config menu).

Edit: If you set it (Luma3DS) to r.bin does this achieve what you are looking for? I hope so.

nvm have sussed it you need to hold the luma key and the L Key to do it.

I have no idea how to make a bin that autoboots sysnand

The 3DS will not boot into normal (non CFW) sysNAND with A9LH installed. Renaming the Luma3DS payload to r.bin will boot Luma3DS in normal sysNAND mode though. What are you trying to do in normal sysNAND (homebrew, GBA)?

How do you get rid of the crappy bootctr screen? Every time i disable it, it doesn't boot anything?
You are not supposed to be getting rid of the whole BOOTCTR entry.

To remove it, just use the following:
Code:
[BOOTCTR9]
screenEnabled = 1
screenLog = 0
fileLog = 0
key_delay = 1000

I personally, just use a splash images and boot animations for most of my stuff lol.
