ROM Hack [Help] Editing CRO Files

So... Is it possible? In the ROMfs of Omega Ruby, I see a Dialogue CRO that may hold answers for my ROMhack. I don't want to edit the dialogue itself, I want to edit the boxes and where the dialogue arrow is pointing to, add more instances of the characters having expressions on their faces, etc. I know that the pk3ds tool already edits CRO files (starters, gift pokemon, types) so I'm wondering how I would go about editing these kinds of files. Any help is appreciated!

Pretty sure this is determined by the character's location, hence why it's following people around at points.

That's related to the models themselves and the textures. In other words, I am certain it's impossible to "add more".

Ask Kaphotics, really. I want to know as well, but he's one of the only ones who's reverse engineering these and it doesn't seem like he wants that stuff official. I can understand that.

What I want to do is change which character it's defined to. I want to make it so that the player character also speaks.

I'm not trying to add more expressions, but more instances. I've noticed that in the StoryText, making a new line brings it to the next emote or camera view if the same character is still talking, which is why a new line does not particularly mean that another character is talking. It just means that another part of the cutscene has started. For example, when you first meet your rival. The first thing they do is ask you who you are (first line) but as soon as that line ends, it brings about the new start of the line where an (!) mark appears above their head. I would think that at the start of the line it has a code to make the cutscene change. Basically, I want to add more lines. I hope that I explained that well enough for you?
I don't want to load more facial textures onto the model, I've edited those and I understand what happens with that. There are only so many slots for the model to change. (8 in the rival's case)

If you can tease information out of him or something, give it out to the world if he allows for that.
