I merged a pull request yesterday that should fix that, I was hoping to implement other features before making a new release but I may make a v1.3.3.
Thank you for your fast reply!

I think the scene evolves so fast that we need an universal updater. If I had enough time I would have done something in that regard already...

This is awesome and what I was really expecting!
What I only don't like about this is Lua itself. I had lag problems before updating, now I have bouncing problems (double [or more!] presses when I didn't mean to).
Thought it was just me lol

Glad it's fixed.

I have a question...? I'm having that issue on my EmuNand where apps like the Friends list doesn't work, giving me an error about "updating my system" when it's already on 11.0.0-33. I tried updating Luma3DS because v5.5 has a fix for that issue, both manually and with this updater, but it doesn't seem to work. In Luma's settings, it tells me I am running Luma v5.4... Yet in StarUpdater, it says v5.5. Can anyone explain what's going on...?

You aren't updated to 12.0, that's the issue

Are you running Menuhax or arm9loaderhax?

Menuhax...
I just tried to switch the installation mode to Menuhax, but it's giving me a configuration error?
Make sure the luma file is located in /Luma3DS.dat

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Add the config file
Config file isn't necessary for menuhax.

/ is the root...

/luma.dat means root if it was in a folder it would be /folder/luma.dat

Sorry, I'm kind of new with this stuff. I moved to file to the luma folder, but when I go into StarUpdater I still get the config error. I can still update, and it says it was successful, but my friends list still isn't working and Luma3DS still tells me I'm running 5.4.
Edit: I messed around with Luma's settings and disabled "force a9lh detection", and I don't get the config error anymore. However, the update still isn't working.

Well, I fixed it! I feel kind of stupid, actually. I use the grid version of HBL, so I kept going into the older Luma3DS because it was on the first "page". All I had to do was scroll over to where the updated one was.

Just made a new release that should fix the cursor problems. Feel free to use the self update function.
Thank you for your fast fix!

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint

    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
