I know for sure that any TWL modifications (the firm that runs DSi and DS games) are not recommended, but I'm not sure about DSi apps.. If you have the newest FBI, you can try to delete it. In FBI, there is an option called "Titles". It will list everything you have installed and you should be able to remove the r4 launcher, hopefully.

No problem. I think you only need to install it in EmuNAND, since that is what you will be flashing to SysNAND later on.

You would think that a format should fix everything, anyways If otphelper tells me I will use that

You just need to put cia files on your sd and use a cia installer like fbi to install them

Does it matter if I have some dsi ware installed? I have an r4 launcher on my emunand and sysnand but when I try to delete it in settings it crashes

The only reason I ask is that when I format the emunand it keeps the r4 launcher

The only things you would worry about would be things like flashcart whitelist

having DSiWare installed is fine, in fact, I helped someone with H&S trouble install DevMenu to Nand so they would have a working .cia installer

But plaisysupdater didnt give me an error like the guide said it would

just download an unpatched TWL for further hacking

That flashcart launcher isnt a direct Nand modification tho. Its just something installed to the Nand
So you're fine (especially since you didnt get an error)

Are you downgrading from 9.2 or 11.0? 9.2 is a guaranteed fail.

I have a question, when first setting up my cfw I injected bigbluebox into h&s and now I cant remove it from synand or emunand. How do I do this? Im trying to get fbi so I can look for twl file

That is so weird, I had my 3ds set up with out the back on it in a way that it could of been pulled onto the ground by my cat! how did you know?!?!

Do you have the proper firmware.bin in your /luma/ folder?
