Ehrm, I don't want to sound rude or anything, but like in dark souls being frustrated is kinda part of the gameplay experience.
It usually pushes you further in literally gitting gud.

Depends on the person, ofc. I don't know if there's a save editor for it, but it should suffice with changing the toon armor to a well built, mixed attack/defense set of end of high rank armor and your favourite weapon flavor (also end of high rank level, it should be arround PH8 or PH9).

This should allow to speedrun the low rank very very easily and becoming increasingly more hard (And fun!) to the end of high rank. At the end of certain quests of high rank, the offline game ends. G rank is "only" for online play (there's some offline quests, but need online play to unlock).

That's why skipped G rank. I understand you want to try the game and get some lols. Low rank will provide the lols and keks. If you, somehow feel like you want to continue playing, high rank would propose a challenge in the late, end game.

I'm just offering you a wide range of possibilities and how to reach them quickly without really runining the gameplay experience. We are talking about 200 hours of casual, regular unmodded gameplay here.
With the settings offered, you could made it in... 40 to 80 hours.

Edit: Just for comparison, an end of high rank attack based armor with a heavy weapon can finish the first low rank big monster in 3 to 10 swings. That's... seconds, a couple of minutes to finish the mission. Totally OP.

Edit2: First result in google by the search "MH4U save editor" and in this forum, so forum search should have done too: https://gbatemp.net/threads/another-mh4u-save-editor.396687/

If you can understand the way i did, you should give G Rank a chance. By no means is it easy at all, but getting the feeling of soloing a G3 Monster is empowering, and towering over the Gog easy with your sets of crafted armor you put time and effort in. But you do you man. You do you.

I am a monster hunter veteran and I think I can safely say that everyone should play normally and at least complete all arena quest with S time before gaining the right to use game balancing hacks. "Long Sword mods" and once you reach HR 500 then just go insane with bomb hacks that is all you need.

Or just wait to Generations release date and hack the hell out of 4U.
