I don't recall making a backup of 2.1 following THE GUIDE, so does that mean I can't use gateway? I'm sorry, but I don't understand.

Plailect's guide? Because you flashed a 2.1 backup to SysNand during that, so yes... You do have a backup.

If that's not what you meant... Please explain.

Anything the beta testers report may change in the final release, so don't pay too much attention to what they say. As long as your system firmware is 10.7 or below, you can use Gateway.

"it’s a good idea to take a snap shot of your sysnand in case we need to push an update to the a9 payload" so, gateway will use their own payload? if they use payloads i can use luma"s payload?

I'm using a9lh atm with luma. I remember making an emunand backup the "formatted" one, downgrading, then clicking one-click setup to fix the bricked emunand. after that, I was on 2.1 sysnand, but there's no mention of making a backup on there. just grab ur otp, then use a sysnand backup to get back up to 9.2. I'm on 11.0.0-33 sysnand with a9lh installed since it mentions updating to the latest firmware a couple of times.

It has different colors because it's on my unbricked backup version of 2.1. :P

Also, the bar on the bottom is barely glitching. I think that's normal, though.

i can download and install a CIA via QR method at around 3MB/s , so on the smaller cias it works out faster. also like you said it depends on peoples internet

Wait what? How are you getting 3DS download speeds of 3MB/s?

The 3DS wireless is capped. Even when transferring data via LAN you're doing 600kps.

What voodoo magic are you using to get the 3DS wireless to do 3MB/s?

I'm honestly curious, cause even when downloading games off the Nintendo server its slow as hell.

I can download a game via GDrive or Mega at 8-20mb/s but have never hit anything above 700kps using the 3DS, I'm using the supposedly faster N3DS.

Okay, finally did it! I'll post the video soon. I need to decompress the video as Web Optimized with Handbrake anyway.

EDIT: Did you know that the A9LH thing Gateway done loads a Launcher.dat on the SD at boot? I just realized that. Confirmed since I switch SD Cards I was on 3.7.1.

Are you talking about burst speeds? Or sustained. Because using wireless datamanagement on N3DS, I've never gotten any higher than 700kps sustained speed. Which is why I don't bother using it, just use my old screwdriver.

Sorry for diverting the thread, but 3MB/s wireless speeds on 3DS is unheard of for me. Its still about 10x slower than my PC, but its better than 600kps.
