GAH lol right when I found the IDs XD That's ok XD glad you got it running then. Mind you Pokken also has some load times in it also, running from the SD.

It's ok, because i have a new one for you my friend, and this one, i dont think you can solve!

So, im playing Toyko mirage JPN ( Genei Ibun) and everything was working for a while, i was playing fine, no issue. I go to play the game next time, any the "cursor" violently shoots down to the last option, and it won't stop not matter what i do. So at first, i thought, oh ok, it's my gamepad, so i tried pro controller ( which does work btw) and same result, so then i decided to see if this was a lingering issue with any other game, and as you might expect, it is not. So my assumption at this point was that it was an AP that they'd designed so you couldnt play past a certain point, like pokemon black and white, so i deleted all my data, recopied EVERYTHING from the game, and jumped back in, same issue. My thought is that maybe its a loadiine issue? I was using smash mode but switching to me maker causes the same result.

Tl;DR Incredibly difficult to pick options as cursor always moves to bottom of screen, not a controller issue.

I wanted to point out as a side note, whenever i'd jump into internet, to get into loadiine.ovh, it would always jump down half way to the middle of the page, maybe that could be an issue?

Oh wait, I think I know this one. You know which build of Loadiine you're running?

edit: oh wait, you're using that website.. I dono much about the site <,> I just do it myself... but still, do you need a copy of the elf? Helps to teach the teacher XD

Last edited by Kit Ballard,
So, after much research, and an "almost there" status, I have a couple of noon questions.

1. I'm assuming if you're NOT self hosting you don't need homebrew-am I wrong?
2. When I go to the hosting site, my Wii u turns to white screen with logo on bottom right corner. I did this 4 times, with four different results. The first time the result was a white screen with the logo for a very long time until I power the Wii U Down, the second time it said something about the elf file the third time it had an error (I can't remember) but at the end it had null at the end. The first time it gave me the error could not mount SD card. My question here is I'm using a 64 gigabyte class 10 SDHC micro in an SD adapter, from what I read that works am I correct? And it is formatted to FAT32 with 64kb clusters.

Your help is much appreciated

The micro sd in a adapter method won't work, I've already tried doing that last night and the wiiu system kept saying sdcard not mounted, you'll need a proper sd card in order for it to work

For some reason I cant find this anywhere. Where are the changelogs for the nightly builds or loadline?

Thanks!

It works perfectly, that's what I'm using for my tests.
I tried MicroSDHC and MicroSDXC with adapters and it works.

If you get the FSMount error, it's caused by the MicroSD, not the adapter (which is nothing more than simple wires to connect small/big sides together)

What if I get the error with a normal SD card I had one game on and worked fine I added others then it didn't work?

If it's stopped working after adding more games there is the possibility it's a fake card, with fake cards they report that they are bigger than they actually are and when then fill up, they start overwriting data/corrupting data.
Double check its not fake with h2testw http://www.heise.de/download/h2testw.html

Signs point to a fake card then. Or by chance the others you added have something wrong. What is the exact card you are using? Seems like a broken record when we say it. DON'T GET CHEAP SD CARDS!

First off, make sure it is formatted correctly, with 64kb cluster size. If not, do that. Then make sure your SD card isn't fake (likely scenario if it's unbranded). If those things don't work, defragment your card. Or, alternatively, back up your games/apps from the card, delete everything on the card, then add everything back one at a time.

Did a test. On a completely filled to the brim 256GB sd card it took about 9 hours to defrag. A format and re-copy of everything took about 4 hours. Food for thought on those debating doing a defrag

Should defrag a TB drive that's full lol that gets stupid quick.

Defragging an SD Card is about as smart as defragging an SSD. It's not needed.

I can confirm it does work after a third party formatter. Only problem is when I load a game, say SM3dworld, I get a black screen for 15 min then I hard reset....any advice?
Also I'm doing a thorough format with 64b clusters instead of 32

There are certain games that are just ungodly slow due to the file structures and amount of small files. Taking up to 30 min or more to even load. The absolute WORST one being SMW3d.
Look at the loadline compatibility wiki. Cut your losses on SMB3d.

That is absolutely incorrect. SD cards do not write their data randomly like SSD's do. For raw byte reads like the gateway 3ds uses for example, defragging fixes games even booting. Aligned files (especially large ones) will ABSOLUTELY have a difference in loading times on this particular exploit running wiiU code through loadline.
