I have no idea what to do now.
Is Aureinand even necessary at this point?
Any suggestion to make my 3DS better will be great!
Thanks.

Luma (Or Aureinand as it used to be called) is the actual CFW that allows you to use A9LH so it's kinda necessary.
There's not really much different you can do with A9LH then you can do with a normal CFW (Main benefits is just faster boots, 100% boot rate, updated sysNAND mode & brick protection)
To make your 3DS better you can go out and download games that you want to play I suppose :P
You could also rub the fact you have A9LH in the menuhax peasants faces (They won't like it but oh well)

Did you follow Plailect's though to the end?
Yeah, my 3ds says Sys on the firmware, and I can use X,Y,Start for stuffs like decrypt9.

So if I have folder called Luma3DS on my SD card, does that mean I am good for updating?

emuNAND is obsolete with A9LH, however if you want to create one you can, we won't judge (At least some of us won't)
Lawl, I will make one just in case.
Also, I was wondering, if I followed Plailect's guide until the end, does that include Aureinand (Luma3DS)+A9LH as well?
I am confused right now.

It is.
But should I create Emunand just in case? :-3
An emuNAND is not at all necessary. By all means you can use one (or more) if you want to but A9LH is safe to keep updated for now. If you followed the guide you basically turned your sysNAND into your emuNAND so there is no need for both really.

The guide instructs you to create backups of your sysNAND with A9LH installed.
Just keep this handy, make like 7 copies stored in different places, and theres no need for emuNAND safety net.
emuNAND was always safer because you couldnt update sysNAND without losing hacks. Now you can.. so its obsolete.
And you can also now restore that backup I mentioned using Decrypt9 if anything ever goes wrong.
Saves you space on your SD card, and youre still just as safe.
