i won't stop using my gw until we have an on device cheat system, in ntr or something similar.
for me, that is the coolest most important feature i use gw for.

so, cfw for me can never be better than gw in every way because i like cheats.

some other benefits that are not so important, like spoofing games as cards instead of the need to install illegit content (pirated cias) on your system (technically could set off flags and get us banned, it's not impossible for nintendo to check, but nintendo kindly doesn't do stuff like that so it doesn't really matter)

No n3ds will ship with 11.0 right now unless you get one refurbished which is a maybe,so you'll be good, doubly so if you already have ocarina of time.

you dont need gateway at all to hack your 3ds. just use luma3ds+a9lh

Gateway only works on exploitable firmware so yes, unless they have some way to do what people could only accomplish with a hardmod (which would admittedly be very cool).

You recall wrong. And do I really need to count the things they did first? 4.x DG. .3ds rom playing. Cheat engine that doesn't require a PC or any kind of network. Flashing a backup to sysnand without a hard-mod. Etc. Etc.

Yes, I've read that more then once in the last couple of days. The only reason I have not done this already are the limitations for not being able to play .3ds files. I just like it simple.

The most popular way is to have sysnand only setup but a9lh can work with emunand (if your cfw supports it). It's basically like using a stock 3ds but it launches cfw. If you choose to go sysnand only you will have a sysnand updated to 11.0 (but you can keep it at whatever you want ofc), most likely.

I think the time-machine app wil be geat and hopefully it's an automatially otp-dumper without todo anything by the user itself (seeems to be. The name let me think, that it swapped to 2.1, dump otp, go to last sysnad you have.
Or maybe better: Only put the emunand to 2.1 and with some magic get the otp from there, who knows ^^, that will be very nice, because it will not touch the sysnand)
