Excuse you? RXTools was my main the entire time I was running Menuhax and during that time, I simply linked to Code.bin using that set up right there and it worked the entire time. I have set up RXTools both from a pre-made setup and compiled through source, using that same set up right there.
rxTools can't be run directly from k9lh and you need to launch it once from a 9.2 NAND through another *hax exploit before it'll work with k9lh.

Yet you cant know how to install it lol

Its a literally know fact that if you reinstall RXtools from fresh or upgrading you delete the Rxtools folder because it removes the Config file.
Which is why if you try and just copy the new code.bin over it blacks screens, because the config file NEVER works with other releases
Which is why it also black screens if there is no config file

Which is why when you Update RxTools or fresh install it you HAVE to get it to boot once from Homebrew Loader

I ignored that guy he's a know it all douchenozzle.

Ty for noticing me I remember the first time we argued you called me out for only having 200 posts LMAO then linked me to a thread which proved yourself wrong about CFW causing Online Bans

Except I've never had to do that. I simply updated my build and it worked. Even compiling from source worked just fine for me. So the word "never" apparently doesn't apply to me.

It's because you can't run it from k9lh properly without first launching it through the homemenu on a 9.2 NAND.

You see, this is how you properly answer someone. Thank you.
Sadly, I don't have a 9.2 NAND anymore because it looks like my 9.2 NAND for my 2DS got deleted at some point.

Just updated EmuNAND to 11.0, eShop is accessible, so no problems with firmware.bin from 9.2

Most probably no-config blackscreen could have a workaround. We should investigate on which phase it fails

For Old 3DS it is not a joke.

Why is it most devs these days dont have any practical smarts.

Considering that RXtools only worked on O3DS on 10.3+ because it had 9.6Firm and that we didnt have the keys for N3DS thats why it was stuck on 9.5CFW on Rxtools
That and all CFW need 9.6+ firm to boot higher than 9.6

You are either a godly encoder or just retarded

I will let you take your pic

Yep, my mistake v20262 is from 9.6

Since there's already 6 pages of comments and sifting through them all to see if my question has been asked already, I'm going to ask myself.
I'm a hacking Noob. Literally found out about the hacking scene about 2 weeks ago and successfully hacked my N3DS 2 days later.
I'm on Luma3DS with A9LH with my SysNAND and my EmuNAND linked.....or is it my RedNAND and one of the others linked? IDK. Something's linked lol, and updated to 10.7.

I know very little about RxTools. I was just wondering, does this still only install on 9.2 and below or will it work on 10.7 and below?
Thanks in advanced. :)

SysNAND <= 9.2 is required, since no A9LH support for now.

I should clarify. It's not for me. A friend wants to hack his 3DS. I advised him not to update to 11.0 just in case and he's on 10.7. I used Cubic Ninja to launch Homebrew, but he doesn't have that and I don't know if he's willing to buy it and he's lost his copy of Oot3D. Can this be used on a non-hacked 3DS to get into Homebrew and move on from there or not? Sorry if this seems like a stupid ass question. The little bit of research I've done on RxTools doesn't make light of my topic.

This requires 9.2 or less sysnand.... So no.... your friend would need to downgrade to use rxTools. Also, this is just another CFW.... this isn't an entrypoint. I don't think this is what your looking for at all.

I figured I was confused. My bad. I'm going to Google some more. Thanks.

Being that it doesn't actually show an error screen, I am not sure where about it fails.
