Just wanted to update, Downgrading CFW emunands can be downgraded from 11.0 to 2.1 by updating the emunand and then putting a 10.2 firmware bin in your luma or reinand folder.

I only want to use Homebrew and no CFW in my principal console so I"m not planning installing in my principal console, however I have CFW in my other consoles since are from another region and I"m not going to buy again the same games that I have physically from other region.

Jeez stop being so cheap and just buy Ocarina of time and powersave. Nintendo select reprinted ocarina of time and it's selling for $20 @bestbuy and powersave can be bought on amazon for $15-20. So in the end, you're spending no more than $50. That's an equivalent of one retail 3ds game.

Not entirely true, Minecraft rolled out update 1.9 recently, and 1.10 is being worked on now, instead of 2.0. And when 1.9Pre was out in 2012, everyone was like "WTF?" when Notch made it 1.0.0 stable, instead of 2.0 (at the 2012 Minecon). It's like Mojang is afraid of the number 2, LMAO.

The OoT3DS game has been re-released for $20, that's half price, and it's still at v1.0, so it's still hax installable. Just stay on 10.7 and buy Zelda. Use a CFW 3DS to install the Zelda hack using the OoTHax installer on the HBlauncher.

I just wish the OoTHax exploit installer would let me install a payload of any FW version I choose, instead of the FW version the system is running. It's a stupid restriction that needs removed, and it's the only reason I have a 9.2U emuNAND. (To install the 9.2U payload)

Alright, I'll probably sound a little dumb with this question, but I'll ask anyway for my friend.

My friend currently has SMChax on his new 3ds xl, and is still on the 10.7 update. If he were to update to 11.0 (don't ask why, he likes having his stuff updated), would all he have to do is hold down the select button, go to the "update *hax payload," and set it for 11.0 update? Also, would he do that before or after updating?

Nah, at least Nintendo didn"t add a real new feature that isn"t for blocking exploits and can use online I"m fine, for CFW I use other console that isn"t from my region for use my region games, but I don"t use any CFW enhancement without the exception of Region Free (that Homebrew let me do anyway with the exception of use online), so I don"t downgrade because I won"t do a real use for it more than Homebrew so it may be some useless for me to use CFW in that console in fact.

It"s no that, I"m fine staying in 10.x.x-x since what I use.
But I"m not saying that downgrade or CFW is bad, in fact it have a lot of enhancements and features that oficially aren"t, only I don"t use any of them so I don"t get something installing really.
ARM9LoadeHax and EmuNand are good and the best choices you can have if you want CFW, also CFW is pretty useful if you make use of that enhancements and features, but I don"t use any of them so better that, but yeah downgrading is the best choice if you want to use CFW.

Seems like i won't be able to install A9Lh in july if I update my Emunand...looks like i'll have to choose between installing FE Fates DLC through CIAngel (I might need to update Emunand to access the game's eshop page) and A9LH...

How and where? Because when it asks me to choose the payload, it wants the System Version that you're running, or it will fail.
