Homebrew Update 11.0 and Homebrew

NTR works fine for me on 11.0 so it doesn't seem the svcBackdoor patch rendered it unusable. Everything is working normal on my N3DSXL with AuReiNand

If you already have HBL and CFW installed on 3ds is it ok to update? I'm using RXtools. On 10.7 now and everything is working. Or does update break stuff? Thanks

Some guys are saying you can update your CFW and rename your HBL payload and it will work.

More testing/reverse engineering still needs to be done, but it's not looking good for future software downgrades without ARM9 being exploited. 11.0 FIRM is apparently checking for minimum title versions now (unconfirmed, but that's what testing is apparently showing), meaning you can't go below what they want you to.

I hope I'm wrong, but yeah.

NTRCardHax is gone. It was patched with 10.4.

Seems like i won't be able to install A9Lh in july if I update my Emunand...looks like i'll have to choose between installing FE Fates DLC through CIAngel (I might need to update Emunand to access the game's eshop page) and A9LH...

The time it takes. I want to do it using the big family computer and I'll have to use the family's wi-fi since the one here is not compatible with my 3DS. Since both computer and wi-fi is shared between us 5 (6 when my brother comes back) I can't monopolize it for 3-4 hours. On the 12th or so July, the rest of the family will go on holiday in Corsica. I'll have plenty of time to follow Plailect's guide without disturbing anyone nor being disturbed.

When installing DLC through CIAngel, you do NOT have to access the in-game DLC shop, and doing so will delete the DLC ticket (Removing the DLC). CIAngel has been tested as working with the FE Fates Birthright DLC.

I'm hesitating between saving money by downloading everything or buying Birthright as a retail game to suppport the devs and download the rest (Conquest, Revelation, other DLCs). Of course, I hope the game and/or dlc European version will be available through CIAngel...

You might have to visit the games eShop page to get its seeddb entry (Or, if you're on an EUR console, manually cryptofix), but I didn't have to do anything to make the DLC work when I tested it.

CIAngel doesn't have control over what games are listed on it, they are all community contributed, so until someone provides the titlekeys to a specific key site, it won't be available in CIAngel.

I got too lucky with this update, as I just finished installing arm9loaderhax I updated my system to get it back to 10.7 and without realizing it released, I was on 11.0.0
