Hacking R4i flashcard works from ReiNAND, but not from Luma3DS?

Got myself this card R4i SDHC RTS LITE (the only one available around here), set it up with the proper kernel and it works great, when started from ReiNAND. But when I try to start it from Luma3DS 5.4 all I get are 2 black screens. I tried with TWL Slot-1 Launcher, but again the same story. I also tried to put firmware_twl.bin in the 'luma' folder, but it didn't help... So, any ideas how to get it working?

I'm with a NEW 3DS, 9.2 SysNAND running menuhax and updated 11.0.0-33E EmuNAND.

Are you using any kind of launcher? If so then you need to use a patcher (one is included) to update the path that it looks for. DS games (and GBA as well) reboot the system upon launching and exiting so likely what is happening is it isn't loading Luma3DS again on the first reboot. ReiNAND doesn't necessarily have that issue since I believe it is already coded to look for a few different path locations.

Just as a point of reference I have Luma3DS (5/9/2016 unstable) running in Updated SysNAND (a9lh) mode on 11.0.0-33U. Tested and working with a R4i 3DS (Rev 6 board) that got blocked on System Software 4.5.

Thanks for the reply!
I do not use any kind of a launcher. I'm running the CFW directly by replacing reinand's boot.3dsx with luma's in the sd card root. Do I have to use the pathchanger for the root directory as well?

As far as I know you would not need to use it in that scenario. Is Luma3DS.dat located on the root of the SD and named as referenced?

Yes, Luma3DS.dat is on the root, the CFW itself works greatly, just that the flascard is not working from it (while it works from ReiNAND).
