when i use NEW-NUSGrabberGui and download the latest Wind Waker HD update i get a zelda.rpx file. In my data/code folder (sd card) is only a cking.rpx file. Should i just copy the zeda.rpx to the code folder an delete the cking.rpx?

thx for you answers.

So I still can't do much on the Mariokart 8 bundle Wii U? What's the user land exploit and how is it used?
There is quite a bit of actual homebrew games that work on 5.5.X. The userspace exploit is pretty much built in when you go to run them, just follow the instructions in the thread of the game you want to run. Scratch that, the Kernel Exploit for 5.5.X was just leaked. You can use Loadiine GX2 and almost everything else on 5.5.X that you could on 5.3.2 now. :)

I've tried hosting my own server again. I can connect to my laptop browser, but my Wii U just won't have it. I even created a simple html page and nothing. any help?
Allow Mongoose (or whatever webserver you're using) through your firewall, add it to the exclusion list in any antivirus, make sure your IP and port are entered correctly. If you want any precise help, you need to walk through exactly what you're doing. Name of programs, specific URL, order you're doing it in, etc.

That's odd.. are you sure you downloaded the latest update for the same region? Throw both RPX in there and see if it works! It should definitely only be one though. I'd copy the cking.rpx to your PC for safekeeping and replace it on the SD with the zelda.rpx. If the game doesn't work, you know something is amiss.

Got Mongoose setup, 192.168.56.1:8080. Added an exception to AVG for the hosting folder. Windows Firewall has incoming and outgoing enabled for mongoose.exe

Folder root is

code532.bin
index.html
payload.php
payload500.html
payload532.html
wiiu_browserhax_common.php
wiiuhaxx_common_cfg.php
wiiuhaxx_loader.bin
wiiuhaxx_rop_sysver_532.php
wiiuhaxx_rop_sysver_550.php

When I go on the wii u, it tries to load for awhile, then I get Error Code 112-1007; Could not display page.

Is there a riivolution like program for Wii U games? If I'm gonna patch back in content that was excluded or changed in certain Wii U games, I'd like ro do it with physical media instead of downloading backups.

I'll get a Wii U with firmware 1.0.2E.

1. Is there any way (on any Firmware) to make a NAND Backup of the Wii U Sysnand?

2.
I could update via Internet to get to 5.5.1E
or
I could loan Yoshis Woolly World / Splatoon / Mario Party 10 to get to 5.3.2E.

2.b.
I guess 5.3.2E is the way to go. I checked the first post but want to be sure: Are there any reprints of the above listed games which contain a higher Firmware than 5.3.2E?

3.
Looking forward to IOSU (soon (TM)):
Will IOSU technically allow something like SYSUPDATER for 3DS?
The same question as above: 5.5.1 or 5.3.2 the way to go?

Hi guys!

Everytime I go away for a bit and come back I can't seem to get this to work. Here is what I am doing.

I am on 5.3.2

I go into the browser and navigate to www.wj.44.ml

click on "Kernal Examples(pyGecko, Loadiine, Homebrew Launcher, ...).

click on LoadiineGX2Beta(A backup loader for WiiU)

I get a all black screen that says Success and re-run the

I follow the same steps but this time it freezes at a white screen that says WiiU

Probably asking i the wrong thread, but I have to ask, with the recent exploits that were leaked to use on 5.5.1, is it possible to use the WUP installer to install games updates?

Can I find a guide for that here or on Google? I'm used to 3ds Homebrew installs, but don't know a thing yet about Wii U. Mostly I just want to play my Gamecube games somehow.

There's a link to a thread with instructions in the OP under Latest News, as well as a bunch of other threads about it in the Hacking & Homebrew forum. Why don't you use Nintendont to play GC games in vWii?

The OP says:
LATEST FW: 5.5.1
EXPLOITABLE FW: 5.3.2, 5.4.0, 5.5.X

Why is the 5.5.X marked with a red color if it's already possible to exploit?

Also, there's this twitter:
https://twitter.com/NWPlayer123/status/727343486333120512

Something smells fishy. Does anyone have more info about this?
All that means is that he hasn't updated the thread yet, for whatever reason.
5.5.1 is working fine, you can use Joonie's GitHub page to exploit it: https://joonie86.github.io/

I added it to the EXPLOITABLE FW list, but left it red and added the "Do not update from 5.3.2 or 5.4.0!" message in the Latest News because of what NWPlayer123 said on Twitter. I'm not yet sure why it isn't safe to update to 5.5.X if everything is working for it, but until I get some definitive information, I will advise caution against updating from 5.3.2 and 5.4.0.

As for those above 5.4.0, go to 5.5.1 and enjoy! :)
