That is cool and everything, but you can do really cool homebrew right now. You have almost full (or full?) mem2 ram access and have access to most of nintendo libs. The only thing that is missing right now is access to UHS, but you only REALLY need it if you want to run dumps from it/want to attach some cool devices. For everything else SD card is more then enough.
You seem to have forgotten that this is a thread about 5.5. Anyway, you're right about being able to do cool homebrew (on increasingly hard to find systems, anyway) which I really do want to do, but right now I just can't due to the firmware version I'm on. As for IOSU, I suppose it isn't strictly needed if you're okay with no usb access, no saving of any data to NAND and having to run an exploit from the browser every time you want homebrew. You also run the risk of Nintendo patching the kernel exploit (not a problem with what you saw in the video)
To me, that list is just too long to justify not researching an IOSU exploit.
