This problem started as soon as I got EmuAND working on my o3DS. Is there a reason?

It shouldn't die that much faster. It does have to access the sd card at all times though. Which CFW do you use?

Hmmm. I use that to and have no problem. Check if your battery is bulging.

Yeah it is actually. The back cover is popping out, and the battery is bulging.

That means your battery is on its death bed, check ebay or amazon for a new one.
