Hey, I read on some thread that emulators run better on 9.2 if you launch it as a cia rather than 3dsx (or whatever the file is). So I installed the cia to Aureinand and there was no physical difference in how the emulator runs from how I remembered it as a 3dsx file. Am I doing something wrong or should I continue to struggle with AGB firms and whatnot.

P.S. I'm talking about mGBA.

P.S.S. I'm on O3DS

So there are multiple things wrong..... Don't use mgba, it's a bad emulator at the moment. It doesn't use dynarec so games don't run fast. Also, of course it won't run well. If you researched for 2 minutes of the millions of threads asking this same exact question, you'll get the same answer. "GBA GAMES RUN LIKE SHIT ON O3DS". Use VC injects instead, as they actually use the gba processor of the 3ds, running at full speed.

or you could just use the retroarch gpsp and install that as .cia. works 10x better than mgba

thanks, let me try doing that with pokemon emerald, it wouldnt let me launch fire red

on gpsp i mean

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

for gpsp retroarch it said it didn't have a high enough refresh rate for pkmn emerald
