It takes 0 talent to make a Github repo and scrawl up a pathetic readme.

were you here for kernel time machine? unknown 'devs' like to announce stuff before they have anything to show for it, feed off the hype, and never release anything. tbqh it's tiring to see.

I don't hate anybody, but what's going on in this thread is pure fiction.
People don't understand that exploit writing is for gifted people with many years of experience, not randoms who make github accounts on a whim just to document a theoretical exploit.

I'm so confused.. @smealum himself claimed it was exploitable, and yet all of you dont think it is? Or are you guys just mad that he hasn't shared any of his progress?

From what he said, he just theorized it might be exploitable. crash != exploitable

1. that being said it's totally possible to crash their crappy custom database parsing code right as the game starts (while screen still black)
2. i haven't exploited it because it seemed like a pain in the ass and i have other priorities. but if anyone wants to take a look, it's there.

If it would be hard for him (a genius) how on earth can a beginner do it?
A crash is only 5% of the journey and has nothing to do with coding (the hard part).

Did it work for you? I downloaded the games as a cia and injected the save with JK's save manager. Nothing happens. Maybe it only works with cartridges only. Or maybe it doesn't work at all?

The crashing_savegame.bin works on my cartridge!

I think this IS the entrypoint, if i understand his Github correctly.
And looks like its working for others in his issues as well!

Well, I hope that something comes out of this. As far as I know, only Spoon and GG are the only people who publicly attempted to get this working.
