The newest versions don't need any pre-patched firm files, or firm files at all since it loads the necessary firm information from CTRNAND. Very, very neat feature, if you ask me. Eliminates the need for additional firm files and makes things a lot easier for people, imho.

Nope! In the latest release, AuReiNand extracts the information on-the-fly without the need for the firm files, I believe. And for the language emulation, your file will need to say "JPN JP" on the inside, not just "JPN". Try that to see if it works!

But we need the form file for ntr no ? Actually I have the firm for ntr and the 2 firm for gba et twl, I dont need them ?

One more question, I have restored my emunand backup on on the sysnand. And I have ticked "updated sysnand mode" and I thought that would be enough to boot to sysnand, but I had to tick "autoboot sysnand too", is that normal ? Or I have do stupid thing with my "swap" (juste decrypt9->sysnand option->restore->emunand.bin)

A bit late, but here's a followup to my earlier post: Commit 7eebfd4 (improved language emulation) fixed both the HWL JP Demo (with language emulation set to "JPN JP") and DS card loading (from EmuNAND). Still works with the latest commit as of right now (615cf81).

EDIT: Interestingly, attempting to load a DS card from FBI v2.0.4 in EmuNAND fails with the screens turned off, but it works fine with DSiWare. This might be an FBI bug.

Nothing except the latest version of ARN?

If this doesn't work please dump (with Decrypt9WIP) and PM me your title keys.

oh wait ! i am reading the changelog and it says "You can enable the feature globally in the config menu. This should also finally make DLCs for foreign games work." < i have not done this, i will look up the boot config now

btw. nice Sorey strap icon !

holy sheep , what does this one here mean "AuReiNand should automatically work with future New 3DS FIRMs as the key generation is now built-in." ?

that it will work with all the updates that will come ? e.g i am on the updated sysNAND, and if an update were to come, i would be able to update my console without worries?
