All my payloads are correct, (I re-installed them all to make sure) and I still get nothing when I hold Start. When I hold Select, I get to the AuReiNand config menu, but nothing on Start.

How early are you pressing start, also do you have the latest D9? And are you using the .bin file?

10.7 emunand without OOT and cubic ninja* told him very vaguely that theres no way

Use this tool. Install it as a cia:

he has no way of getting the CIA because he doesn't have access to installing CIAs to the emunand

He needs to get to the homebrew launcher from emunand so he han use fbi to install fbi

Tell him to inject FBI. It's better in the long run anyways.

wow where do i start as a n00b lol.

i have purchased a 2nd hand N3DS XL of ebay from someone who had previously run CFW on it. he has formatted the unit back to running on sysnand only and all the CFW stuff is removed.

the N3DS firmware is still on 9.2.0-20E still. therefor i dont need to downgrade.

with so many various different cfw and tuts out there im confused. very confused lol. which is best guide to follow for
i was thinking about following this guide

in the youtube guide its running reinand on the new 3ds xl for ver 9.0 - 9.2
but now im reading about aureinand and my head hurts lol.

now following guides and doing hacks i dont mind at all! but now im confused which way to go, a9lh or follow the youtube guide and go reinand old school way of cfw on the 3ds.

this will be the first time i have installed cfw on a 3ds, this will be the first time ive used a 3ds.
i guess my question is, whats the best guide i can follow to install CFW or A9LH on a N3ds with sysnand on 9.0
also is there a good youtube video i can follow that you can link me to please?

You must get cfw in order to use a9lh first, so you should follow either your video guide (not super recommended) or a written tutorial (I recommend this one for N3ds).

What are you trying to do? Also the "tools" part of Rx"tools" was removed in beta 3 iirc.

im trying to inject fbi but no where i can find will tell me how to get into the Rx menu. it only shows me boot options rather than anything similar to the menu from 2.6

If I'm wanting to get better framerates on old 3DS titles, do I need to do anything special in the AuReiNand settings to utilize the N3DS processor?

Anyways, i want to install A9LH, so i want to have a clean 9.2 (ive messed with both the MSET and TWL) and was wondering if i could just use SysUpdater's 'Update' function with 9.2 files so everything is as if i just downgraded

I just modified my 3ds XL's birth date (firmware 4.4) and from there it stopped recognizing my gateway mode (does not boot gateway mode when clicking nds profile).
I've tried to look for solutions and most of them result in "you have to reinstall your gateway setup".
My issue is that I don't have my blue card with me for the time being and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this without needing a blue card?

Trying to setup my 2ds in the meantime - I made a backup of my sysNAND and went gw mode fine, but have no emunand. I know I need to select "format emunand" from the website menu, but will it delete my gamesaves/games themselves or will it only delete eshop related stuff like game patches?

So D9 still isn't compatible? And get Rxtools 2.6 if you really need the menu.
