Hey guys, is there any way to extract the basic themes from the 3DS so I can use it as a base? I've tried using yellow8's 3DS Homemenu extdata Tool but it does not seem to work.

Any ideas?

do you have a specific color in mind? if not, that iso site has a thread for all themes for chmm2. in that thread, the JPN folder has the basic themes in other colors such as sky blue, and green.

You sir, are a legend! Thank you! I'm making Power Ranger themes and can't be bothered to make the colours myself ;)

Is figured out already the type2 themes? (The ones with animated background, I recall that there were two, one of Monser Hunter 4 and another of Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies).

There are two more of those themes, both are Japanese: Gunma's Ambition Theme and Nemuneko Friends - Song To Match.
As far as I know, currently the only way to edit these themes is Yata+.

I have already been there but can't find the basic colors you're talking about...

towards the bottom of the first post.... "Little bonus: five default solid color themes in CHMM format (and they also have smdh icons and previews now)."

edit: in case you're wondering... they're in the first pack of themes.
