So this is the Arch-Linux of CFWs? :P

I guess so. None of them have become sysNAND only, so this one has its own niche, I suppose. I'm not trying to take over the CFW "world" or scene, just providing another option.

Pretty amazing feature, but...
How about AGB and TWL reboot patches?

As far as I understand the O3DS only needs a reboot patch for Smash and MH4U (which I don't know what I'll do about yet, if anything). Am I mistaken?

Just tried out Smash Bros on my 2DS, it worked.
Also tried a GBA game, also worked.

So I don't think you'll need reboot patches.

This CFW has already made a good impression on me and I haven't even tried it yet.
It made me google mizuki. Nice. :D

If you boot a different title without hitting X to exit, no. And that would remove the update protection and sig patches/region free/whatever until the following boot.
OH well I'm guessing that has to be fixed? and tbh if u wee going for a less popular approach and havin the most barebones thing then why go all out for a sysnand cfw somethings that doesn't even exist and is pretty damn cool lol in my opinion whether you don't want popularity or you do you should make this a great thing

Just tried it out, and already it seems to be the best public CFW for A9LH, the lack of menus is great and I'm glad someone other than Rei is doing it. However you might want to look into the fact that Smash doesn't work on O3DS(Only works if on cartidge or if bought on e-Shop), and yeah only Smash/MH4U would need a reboot patch/patching arm11.

This caught my eye. Is there something you know that we don't, in regards to getting 80mb/178mb modes working on o3ds/n3ds, that don't need a reboot patch? Or am I just reading too much into it?
You would need to ask Reisyukaku, he refused to use a reboot patch and talked about writing to config memory over at his github

Nintendo makes FIRM restart itself because the memory regions are different in the different memory modes (the BASE, SYSTEM, APPLICATION) so it has to reload everything (or at least I suppose it's just easier for them to do it that way). Doing it differently would be really complex, if it's even possible. For sure it would require heavy patching of FIRM.
