Holy shit.
Ok background info,
In NSMBWU I always got 30 fps in the map screen.
I read here that opening google chrome and watching a video or something might increase performance.
Thought that was stupid.
Now to today.
I was playing NSMBWU and was watching a video at the same time randomly.
I got to the map screen and got 45 fps.
Then when I paused the video I got perfect 60!
So yea
TL;DR Though people who were talking about the google chrome thing were lying. Accidently tried it and it worked.

Nevermind turns out it was just a spot on the map that just has better performance =P
I was so excited I posted without checking.

Glad you finally decided to try the "video in the background fix". We don't question it, we just DO it, lol. :yay:
I'll have new results/albums with new games pre and post "fix" up shortly btw.

What CPU/GPU are you using again? :P
(probably a good time to mention I simply use an MP4 rather than chrome)

At any rate I recently acquired SNMBU, WWHD, Shovel Knight. Performanceoesn't appear to be a change with WWHD using the video "fix" (similar to what I noted with MK8) though I am getting performance in line what others are reporting here. (~12fps outdoors fairly solid 30fps indoors)

NSMBU performance was very similar to SMM and SM3DW for me thus far.
I took screen caps of my performance without the "video" fix for the first pictures of the album and my fps was ~22 for the most part, and as soon as I opened the video (without restarting Cemu) my fps went straight to 60 in my latter pictures. I also tested the normal priority and high priority in task manager and noticed to change what so ever as noted in my final 3 pictures.

NSMBU imgur album here~

I even toyed around with this for a bit and as soon as I close the video performance shoots down, yet consistently goes back up the second I play/pause the video.

Edit~ Better format+ a bit more info

My specs are in my Signature just click "Show" but It's a 4.2 Ghz G3258 and a GTX 760 Overclocked.

What specs are you using though?

8320 4.5 OC
G1 390 1150 core/ 1600 mem OC
16GB DDR3 2133 RAM

And I had thought you had an AMD card for some reason, this "fix" at this point seems to be exclusive to AMD [GPU] users.

Hmmm no idea, all it does for me is kill performance.
Here try running AIDA 64's CPU stress test and Cemu (I'm being serious).

Any idea why Super Mario 3D world EUR crashes soon after i start the emulation? Just goes black screen for a moment then cemu crashes. Ive never had it working on any version of cemu, im now on the latest 1.4c.

I have Mario Kart 8 and NSMBU working ok though.

Try the US one.

I'm thinking that whole web browser in the background thing just triggers the amd gpu into performance mode.
Any way some of you amd guys could check out your control panels and see if you could at cemu as a game or something?

Anyway, here's a short video of Mario Kart 8

Can anyone PLEASE help, I've looked through so many posts now but can't find any mention of what the Command Line switches are for CEMU.

Any chance someone could please post a list of the command line switches that work?

BIG thanks in advance :)

Idk, I keep posting before/after "video fix" pictures/albums showing the "fix" works at least for me, (where everything else fails) dunno what else I can do short of recording my gameplay/me using this fix and without tbh.

Makes more sense than anything I've come across thus far. And sure, I'll check if it does anything.
Edit~ Manually adding the executable and changing it's profile settings in Radeon settings did not seem to noticeably affect performance. Not certain if it may have something to do with me using the AMD driver workaround and having the newest version installed. (16.3.2)
