Hardware going to buy a new ps4 help

i already looked around town and the local stores around here sells ps4 with no seal and its opened and they say that its brand new...

i cant find a sealed ps4, all of them are unsealed

is this normal?

in my definition if a product is open, its not brand new

no nintendo consoles come sealed, my ps4 wasnt sealed.
its entirely possible that sony doesnt use seals in your country anymore.
as long as its a reputable big name chain store just go for it.

sorry for the late reply, the store owner says all asian ps4 have no box seals[meaning they are open and can be replace by a refurbished 1]

OP, I'm not from Laguna but have you tried looking for stores such ass Gameline or Datablitz?

Here's an address of Datablitz in Laguna:

Best bet is OLX.ph. You sure they aren't brand new and just unsealed? How about looking around other nearby provinces or for better chances, SM North EDSA and SM Fairview are good places to go around looking

The box that I bought wasn't sealed in plastic. It just had some tape at one side. Although that may be because I bought a bundle. OLX doesn't appear to have any listings for a PS4 on 1.76 firmware. A 1.76 PS4 is rare these days especially in the PH. If there's one PS4 on 1.76, I can bet that it's somewhere in a rural area
