Unless I'm misreading, I think the OP is specifically asking for a way to use a loadcode compatible version of spider on n3DS for all the neat thigns that were made with that. I don't think I've seen anyone successfully boot spider on an n3DS, so if it is possible, no-one's pulled it off yet.
But, we can use spider when downgrading to 2.1 for OTP retrieval, because downgrading to 2.1 replaces all the n3DS specific titles with o3DS ones. At 2.1 your n3DS essentially IS an o3DS, at least in software, which is why it can run spider.

I don't see how this OP is difficult to understand at all. Specific browser versions for the 3ds had specific exploits, no? The userland exploits were found in the browser, and then a new browser update was made, so the OP is simply asking if he can put an older firmware's browser on a newer firmware.

Badically no, the n3ds is not designed to look for the o3ds browser so its not just as simple as installing the o3ds browser, it *may* be technically possible with some modifications like spoofing spider as skater or patching the home menu (or whatever manages what applets are used) to load up spider instead, but honestly ntr is a more feasible cheating option than spider if only people would be bothered moving on from spider

Why would you want an older browser version, though?
If you're on a firmware without browserhax you should just downgrade.
I think he wants it for spider cheats only

What if you launched it from FBI or something?

Maybe he wants to use cheats online?

Well its not a app so its not really designed to run like that, and also to use it for runnig spider cheats you would have no choice but to find a way to run it from the home menu as the game has to be running at the same time for the patches to work so if you launvh via fbi/dev menu you would need to exit the game to launch it

I guess one way if he really really really wants to run spider hacks he might be able to make a seperate SD with a downgraded emunand on it for exclusive use with spider cheats

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
