Since the Official pokebank is compatible with red/blue/green/yellow, is there plans for phbank to be compatible with them? I know it would probably be extremely difficult but I just thought it would be cool.

I imagine a future where Gen 1-5 are all in VC via the inject method or whatever else with all of them having wireless trading and support with phbank (Although I don't ever expect to have this [At least not for a year+ or something idk]).

Thanks in general for this too! It's awesome :D
-snip-

Had no idea of this new homebrew.

Hey. Driving home from Quebec now, had a great time skiing.

Anyway, thanks for the CIA, gocario. It was very useful.

Looking forward to future releases, whatever it might be. :)

Very nice. Got a chance to take a look at it. A couple of things I noticed.

If you fail to remember to put the data files on the sd card it will error. This is what you get.
Problem happened: 0x28
PHBank version: 020001b0
Can't start the viewer.
Press any key to exit.

If you try to load a game that doesn't have any save data it errors.
Problem happened: 0x84
(rest is same as above... pretty sure it is hard fixed and version is relevant to the current one installed)

If you show a pokemon with an OT that uses non-alphanumeric characters it just displays as boxes. This may apply to other text fields as well.

It will always error without the resource files. There is no way around this other than to remember to put the resource files in the right spot.

It will always error without a save present because there is nothing for it to read.

And as for the non alpha-numeric characters? I'm just gonna say that it would have to be in the resource files for it to be shown.

0x28 is a problem with the data manager and the texture manager.
As Xenosaiga said you have to place the /pk/ folder of the archive to the root of your sd card.

0x84 is a problem with the filesystem and the save manager.
That is happening because the hb fails to access a non-initialized savedata, you have to start the game and a play.

The boxes which appears are some special characters like the japanese character, that is because the font used doesn't include these characters.

I kinda figured as much on all 3 (where I pretty much stated the cause). I was hoping the author would indicate he would try to capture/handle the error so it doesn't result in you having to reload the app. As for the last one yea I kinda figured it was a font issue except I think there are japanese name files so unless it is limited to the system font...

P.S. - There must be a font capable or the game just happens to provide its own because those same pokemon the OT displays properly.

Hey, I really like this app but it would've been amazing if we could see the gender of the Pokemon and their egg shiny value. (I am a breeder and I don't like to hack Pokemon.)

I'd just like to say thank you! This makes transferring between OR and Y way easier for me! I was worried I had to use my O3DS to transfer to Y and as you know trading can take a long time when you trade a lot of Pokemon. This really helps!

Hey @Gocario if i edit the images in the Pk golder like the splash screen and the sprites will it load those directly once the app is ran, or do I have to edit something else so I can update the graphics on the app?
I would like to update the sprites with the 3D model thumbnail othe games so it can show that nut not completely sure if directly editing the .png will do the trick.
Thanks a lot for this amazing Hb.

To change the simple 2D art, you can edit the files into the /pk/romfs/ folder, since the app load these files on startup.
I tried to load another spritesheet (I made some cropping on too) for the top screen pokémon icon, but that wasn't working due to the size. I might have another solution that I'll try later.

EDIT: Well
