hello, i put 3.9 to my sd card. but aureinand only boots to sysnand. nno button is pressed. if i use cakesFW it boots into emunand. what did i wrong to use aureinand?

i have delebile forks of a9lh installed.

You could remove the CIA and it would work.

I can see the point of Gateway with a CFW, but ONLY for the debugger.

Sky3DS has no point on CFW, and will also work on 10.7
I see you missed part of my post. Both flash carts have a point for the person who doesn't want to have a bunch of crap installed on their 3ds.
Quite easy.. Backup your save data (with something like JK save manager), delete the CIA, buy the game, then restore your save. It's what I do.

Everything I have seen you can't download the game from the eshop as its still in the ticket.db

Let's play online! Oh wait.. You need a private header.

I think it's more convenient to install them to the system.

You think...... that was the entire point of my post. Everyone is different. So while you may like to do it one way others like to do it the other way

Just updated AuReiNand.

Can't boot Decrypt9WIP. It boots but the screen is still black. I'm using FIX94's fork of A9LH. Probably because screen_init is done by A9LH but the backlight is = 0. I suppose that AuReiNand does not increase the backlight, only activating screen_init if it is not done.
I may have to "downgrade" my fork to non screen-init version but I would rather keep it. (Except if someone have the stageBLABLABLA file to use with the updater to remove screen_init.)

You can use his updater again, but change out stage0xC5000.bin (might've missed a zero or two there, but you get the idea) for one from the fork you want to swap to.

Do you know where I can get the stage0xC5000.bin from? I would like to update my A9LH installation with dark-samus's fork that shuts down the 3ds if no SD card is inserted

Fix94's fork isn't suppose to be used with AuReiNAND to handle payloads. Use arm9select if you're going to use Fix94's fork.

I know that, I used it as a workaround to avoid that ugly flashing screen.
But now that AuReiNand has those great built-in boot loader features, I've got to find a way to keep this perfect cold boot AND to boot various payloads.

As far as I know there's no need for delays on A9LH, those were only needed to make kernel exploits more reliable.
Its not needed for stability, but if you press a button for selecting a payload without a delay, it will be hard to change the button you press for example to boot emunand instead off sysnand, before the payload runs.

Slightly off-topic from A9LH, but I made a tiny mod to ARN that displays the splash screen for 3 times longer (so around 2 seconds total, you can actually see the darn thing now, without it going away instantly). I can post it here if anyone wants it.

I can't access my sysnand. I press L or R during boot up but it takes me straight to emunand

Use @FIX94 A9LH with arm9select in tandem with AuReiNand and you can achieve what you desire.

I don't want to use AuReiNand as a first boot loader to boot into a second boot loader to finally boot a payload. That's a non-sense.
I prefer downgrading the StageX5C000, just have to find one from the first A9LH release.

He means load the arm9select and have the default payload be AuReiNAND
