That's something still really hard! The easiest and first thing they should do is a Nintendo NX's emulator.

Gonna be nitpicky here, but is it really a VC?
I mean, the 3DS already has the DS hardware in it. Isn't VC only applied towards emulator games? (Such as SNES and GB/GBC.)

Anyways, I'm not gonna have my hopes up, as some people have stated, this game might be similar to Advance Wars.

2. Download DS Homebrew Launcher.nds (that's a thing, right?) and some DS homebrew
3. Inject it into the DS game from My Nintendo

The gba vc uses the native ds mode's gba mode, so it shouldnt count as a vc but they still call it vc

The actual screenshot refers to this as DSiWare and that it takes up space on the internal memory in blocks as the sizing... So this is probably not just a wrapped DS game :/

nah, it won't since there are already dsiware for o3ds and it won't make any sense to not do it for o3ds

snes was n3ds only because it needed an extra hardware the n3ds had and it was emulated, because a snes_firm/nand doesn't exist, while for example, a twl_firm/nand (for ds) exist
