Hello.

Today, I switched on my 2DS, and proceeded to check out my new games that I'd been installing for the past two days, upon boot up, I noticed they weren't there. I took out my SD card, and the games are all still there, but not showing up in either sysNAND or emuNAND.

How on earth can I get them back, and what did I do to make them do that? I have no idea how to work this back now as I've only been learning about this for the past few days.

I've got a 2DS with a 32GB Sandisk SD Card, my emuNAND is version RX-E 10.6.0-31-E and my sysNAND is Version.6.0.0-12E

The only thing I did last was created a Mii on Miimaker, now maybe that had something to do with it, I'm not quite sure, I hope someone here can help me

Thank You

Hi!

How did you check if your games are still installed? Did you see the TitleID of your games in the Extdata folder or through your CIA installer?

I created a one thread about the game updates yesterday, I created this one today as it was a different problem.

and GKG, I took out my SD card and popped it into my computer and checked the folder they were in, every single one of them is still there

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Like I said, I created a MII last night, then this happens, is there a possibility that conflicted with it?

You were actively receiving help in the other thread less than a minute before making this thread. Then you linked us to this thread and arbitrarily told us to move here, which was unnecessary.

When you say your games are present on your SD card, are you just referring to the CIA files? If so, they're useless until you've installed them, and once you've installed them, you don't need them anymore.

Are your sysNAND and emuNAND linked? If so, did you go into Data Management?

Yeah, they're still in my folder as CIA files, I've installed all of them, I did it over a course of last night, I didn't delete anything once I installed them, would that be the reason why?

And sorry buddy, I've only been doing this for a few days, how would I tell if they're linked?, I went into data man, and saw 123k blocks free in both sys and emuNAND

Sorry for the second thread btw

How many folders with all letters and numbers did you see in your "Nintendo 3DS" folder in your SD card? This will tell if they are linked or not.
What CIA installer are you using?

After you set up rxTools emuNAND, did you go back and format your sysNAND or emuNAND? This is necessary in order to unlink them so problems like this do not occur. I recommend you use TinyFormat to do so.

There's one folder with all letters and numbers along with one other folder called "private" in my Nintendo 3DS folder on my SD Card.

I believe I did actually format after I'd finished, I also use the FBI installer to install the CIA files, as I say, I don't do anything to the CIA file on the sd card once I install a game

Right, would you be able to help me do exactly that?

If I do that also, what would be the differences? would it stop this from happening again?

Here's a great tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...luding-emunand-coldboot-cia-installer.405589/
But I don't know if it will apply to you due to a lack of informations.
Also if you go into System Settings->Nintendo 3DS->Softwares in SysNAND it will delete all your installed CIA's.

Hang on, do you mean just clicking softwares will do that?

I'm 90% sure I did that yesterday, and I also might have done it in sysNAND

Would there be any potential risks to doing this? Any information you need, I believe I could supply without any trouble lol

Problem is, I don't know which part to start at, as my SD card is pretty much already set up and what not, but I wouldn't wanna start on another step if I 100% had to start on the first step

I think you should start from scratch using the tutorial but you could also update your SysNAND to 9.2 using SysUpdater (That can be risky).
