why isn't there a cia build of this yet???
I want this too. But it would need some sort of launch menu. Currently mods are launched by using hbl shortcuts. Hardware rendering for 3D support and multiplayer support without the need for winquake and pc would be awesome too.

CIA builds haven't been released because they add another set of errors and bugs that need to be maintained, and are also alot harder to test new version.

Doesn't work on my new 3ds 9.2 sysnand :C It just boots into a blackscreen

What hax do you use? It's not working at 1.1b. I think you have to have hax 2.X.

I hope that @MasterFeizz will update this one day. I would be very happy with a minor update, so we can adjust the brightness. Then I will get back to the Quake world :)

One other suggestion about the menu/status bar. Perhaps, you can make it transparent, like this:

Brightness fix is really easy to do, i'm going to do a pull request on his repository about this ;)

Yay! That's what I thought it would be! Those kind of fixes probably doesn't impress the elite coders. But those 'easy' fixes, like brightness settings, makes a huge difference for the gamer :)

Wow! Thanks! That was like very fast done ( 1 minute or so) :) I'll try to figure out how to recompile it..

I got very surprised that Rinnegatamante could do it so fast. I have asked for brightness settings in this homebrew for a couple of months :p

Well, I haven't tested it, so I'm not sure if it works. But will test it tonight :)

Well, we have Quake, anyone think it will be possible to port Half Life running on GoldSrc (Not Source) to the (N)3DS?

The n3ds is actually rather powerful. I don't think we have seen it's full homebrew potential yet.

I'm sure there are a few elite coders in the 3ds scene that could do it. But it is probably a lot of work...

Here you are a recompiled ones. Don't know if it works cause in my main devkitPro installation there is an older ctrulib but it should be fine enough.

Thank you very much. I think the old version was locked on brightness 3 of 11.. Now, I think I will set it to 5-8, and I can suddenly see clear in the Quake universe now :D

But there came up another peculiar change. The nub/c-stick is not working anymore. Anyone else that can confirm this?

@Rinnegatamante I have merged your pull request.

I have been away from the scene for a while now, too much work has caused a lot of anxiety and stress. Things are starting to get better now, I hope to get back soon.

Yeah! Hopefully you'll come back again soon :)

Do you know what could have caused that Rinnegatamantes built got the c-stick/ nub unavailable?
