What's the problem?

I've formatted the SD card via EmuNAND9 but whenever I try to inject the NAND, it keeps telling me "No EmuNAND SD detected".

Try using 1.0.1.

If you formated the sd card, then you may have removed emunand. Try making a new emunand and then injecting.

This was a brand-new SD card but I'll try again.

If it was a new sd card, then you need to make the partition for emunand on it, so yeah just use emunand9 to create emunand then try injecting your backup.

Just did it again, still didn't work.

I'm using the latest and it says that the backup is not the right size when i try to inject it. Any Ideas?

Same problem here.

EDIT: Nvm, figured out the problem. I used an earlier version of EmuNAND9 to format the SD card, release 20160115-005858 to be precise and 1.0.1 of the tool and now the injection is a success.

I'm using a N3ds, with 9.2 sysNand and Rei 10.6.xU emuNand (unlinked from each other).
I backed up my emuNand by using the extract emuNand option within the tool and saved the emuNand9.bin to my desktop.
Then I backed up my entire SD card with the "Nintendo 3ds" > emuNand portion as well.
I booted my n3ds into emuNand then formatted using the normal system settings.
I re-setup the emuNand system (name, region, birthday, internet, etc.), then I linked my NNID to the emuNand.
After that I powered down my n3ds and put my SD card into my computer.

Now when I hit Inject Nand to emuNand, it says "NAND.bin This file doesn't exist create the file?"
My intention is to restore my emuNand backup that I made earlier using this tool. What am I doing wrong?

You might want to update this... I tried to transfer an emuNAND file with this but it didn't copy some of my virtual SNES games and DsiWare NAND games. I fixed this by just using Decrypt9WIP but this tool is so much more easy to use!

Im trying to use the tool to transfer my contents to a 64Gb sdxc card formatted to FAT32 but it won't detect the new SD card for some reason :/ I already setup emuNAND on the new card by running emuNAND9 on my 3ds so it should work but it keeps saying no emunand sd detected

I am also getting the non nand detected, 4gb sd that came with console, even though I can boot into RXtools and see my emunand (10.7) :S.

yeah I really wish there was a version that didnt autodetect so I could just select the drive. Im might have to buy another 64gb if I cant find a workaround as not being able to use emuNAND tool would be a huge pain

Because it will not detect the new SD card even after setting up emuNAND on it. The 3ds detects it and I was able to set up emuNAND but when I try to click inject emuNAND it says emuNAND sd not detected. emuNAND tool detects the 32gb fine but im trying to transfer to the new 64gb and emuNAND will not detect that one if im being clear :/

I tried 1.0.1, .2, and .3 and none worked :/ im just going to try using the 3ds to recover the NAND.bin thrugh emuNAND9 or decrypt9 and see if that works

Yeah I guess that'll work, although slow. Another thing to try is:

It does the same thing as emunand tool plus more. I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a try.
