A9LH launches at boot and relies on a bin payload on the SD card to progress. So, if CtrBootManager9 could be modded to ask for a passcode before booting anything, that would be amazing.
*ahem*, of course, anyone in the scene would know to delete and replace the arm9loaderhax with a password free version, or even just look into the a9lh.cfg and search for the passcode, but at least everyone isn't that deep into 3DS hacking.
A screen can come up and require a certain button combo or string of numbers/letters to load the actual Boot Manager Menu.
This would be amazing, anything to keep other people from my stuff. Each time someone has it I'm scared they got into sysnand and updated, or deleted/modified one of my saves... xD

If anyone actually makes this I could try to make the UI for it. I would try to make it look as close to the original OS as possible.

School, animals, and my brother would like a moment.
Kill them all. Problem solved.

Ain't nobody gonna be able to mess with your 3DS when you're in a jail cell yo!

If you have a cell mate, kill him too. They won't give you another.

Then it's just you and your 3DS for the next 25 to life.

If they allow him to have his 3ds in the pen

How about in particular a version that asks you for a password only when you press (button) to boot into sysNAND, Decrypt9 or anything else besides emuNAND? That way no one will f*ck up your 3ds but you still don't always have to put in a password. This I would love, esp. Because anyone nerdy enough to know to replace a9lh.bin will know not to f*ck with sysNAND.

Some users on a9lh have a sysNAND only environment tho so this doesn't work for all. Maybe just the option to disable/enable the passcode on a per boot option basis?

Well, why would we exclude emunand? That's the main point of of the lock feature.

Yeah, but then they would still have access to emunand, defeating the purpose of locking the system.
Like I said, it could be a simple script to wait until the passcode is entered before booting any of the payloads.
I would just use it to make no one f*cks up my console, not so they can't play my games. Look. I get what you mean, but that's just not what I want.
