I don't think I can wait for offline homebrew anymore because of this. 0.0
You still need a browser exploit to launch the homebrew launcher itself.
then all homebrew are launched from SD card (or wifi if you are a developer, it's super useful!).

so the apps lauched with hbl work with 5.3.4 and 5.4.0?
or do i need a specific app for every version

Questions:

1) What is the difference between the homebrew launcher and the loadiine? According to the images, they are both homebrew launchers.

2) what is the success rate of launching the web exploit? Besides, does it mean that once we have accessed the web exploit we do not need it anymore even if we switch games or exit the game and relaunch the homebrew launcher?

3) Hope there would be an offline homebrew launcher in the future.

Anyway thanks so much dimok and cyan. It is always a blessing having you guys in gbatemp. And hopefully there would be a iosu release soon so that it will make homebrew more convenient and user friendly. The requirement of updating the firmware of the game console in order to be able to play games is always a nuisance. This is something I really care about cuz a lot of people would like to keep their console firmware as low as possible.

I have a problem

FTPiiU works fine
But launch loadiine 0.2 via HBL didn't work with me ( I only have the elf in the loadiine folder, no icon or meta ) is that the reason?

oh boy, the "hew ken i uze homebru luncher on meh 5.9 wii u" threads are coming ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

but wonderful job, looks beautiful just like the wii one

well the last hour of hbl icon/banner design just died when i closed photoshop in error... no recovery mode with a portable app.. ffs.
Just spring for the full version, I never understand the people that buy the portable version when the full isn't that much more.
