Make sure that wireless settings are on (or switch the wireless toggle on o3DS). You have to be connected to a wireless access point, otherwise that kind of error will happen.

Thanks for pointing out the update.

With this update, I'm uploading to my 3DS at around 1.5MB/s (yes, bytes) so this is around five times faster than it was before. I'll try downloading from it in a bit.

EDIT: Weird, I'm only downloading from my 3DS at about 900KB/s. I figured it'd read faster than write. Oh well, still it's so much better now and I upload to it more than I download from it, anyway.

EDIT2: I sent a 583MB file to my 3DS then downloaded it. I compared the md5 to the original copy and it came out the same. So it seems to be stable, reliable, and faster. Great work!

Feature request: It would be great if we could set our own background image from a background.bin file like on a FTbrony mod did. I love being able to use my gf's face as my background. I'd make the full switch to ftp-3ds if I could just use my own background.

If you download it straight from FileZilla's site, you can bypass the Sourceforge malware bullshit.

Go here: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1

And download the ones not marked (recommended). It'll give you a ZIP file with the FileZilla executables that you can unzip and use from anywhere.

EDIT: You still download from Sourceforge but without its terrible installer.
