Wait, are you doubting my team, or hykem's? Or even both for that matter?

Yours, of course. All it looks like is like you opened a .dll file in notepad and thought you could do something with it. I mean, seriously, you started asking "how are kernel exploits developed". You guys have actually 0 knowledge or chance to succeed

I don't think WE need people talking shit. If you're not okay with us just go on. We don't care about your opinion.

How that we have 0 knowledge ? What are you talking about .dll files, this actually have nothing to see.

vauxhall studios why does you avatar say wii u guru when you know 0 bout anything you aint saw on this forum i for one dont trust you

Ok I think you guys should stop this :), you must not forget this is a homebrew community, one of the main purposes (if you have forgot) of homebrew is for passionate people to practice and learn stuff, you don't need a resume or an interview to be accepted in the community as long as you're not harming anyone with spamming or whatever...
These guys whatever their skill/knowledge is, they are at least trying to do something active, no matter how minimum it seems, the least you can do is respect their curiosity and the time they put into the scene ^^.

My advice to whoever is in this enthusiast team, try keeping your conversation as much far from here as possible, it's rare that great things get achieved when they start with so much noise ^^. You can even make a thread to discuss your progress to attract more people to help you if you want, as long as it respects the forum rules and it remains so.

So to set a few things straight. I'm not on any team. I provided information to @NexoCube and @Voxel Studios in a pm because they asked information, just as I have done for many people. Whether or not they go on to develop an exploit is up to them. We, all of us, have an extraordinary amount of information about the Wii U at this point thanks to the tireless efforts of people of @Marionumber1, @NWPlayer123, @Hykem and others. Plus we have tons of real-world code examples at this point and there is now a burgeoning homebrew environment and @dimok has released the 1st real full-featured application. I think anyone that thinks they can just start learning this stuff and write a hack in a few weeks is delusional. I started on this site two years ago this month, and wrote my first homebrew. I did something small and manageable that I understood what I was doing because I'd already done it before on an architecture that I could debug in. In the two year intervening years, i've gotten better at this but I'm still far far behind those who were around during the wii era. When I don't understand something, I research the hell out of it, look through all the code examples that are out there, look through all the threads that don't suck, and I when I ask questions, I try to ask specific questions that show I've put the time to do the research.

Of all the threads posted on here, This one is I bookmarked because I keep coming back to it.

Marionumber1 did a huge knowledge dump on this thread, and some of his follow on explanations really clarified some stuff.

Yeah man, these kids just waste everyone's time with their "I just do it all myself and these stalling devs will be forgotten" mentality.

Need a magnifier to spot the hack easier? Oh, you found it already? It jumped right into your eyes? Damn. That's what I call talent. From 0 to 100 l33t hAx0r. </sarcasm>
Nice imaginations of hacking but I guess that's not how it works ;)

It's not like anyone can pull this off right off the bat if people like us (who develop a few things for the community) won't even bother.

Anyone remember the so called 3DS 9.x MSET exploit installation from last year?
