It compiles "fine", but it was bricking people before. Are you saying you were able to install A9LH without a brick on Linux, then?

HUGE appreciation and respect for @PsyJED. Compiled arm9loaderhax.3dsx for me as I lacked the professional knowledge. Proud owner of 9.2 N3DS direct booting to ReiNAND 3.2 via a9lh. He was very direct in warning me of the dangers possible without a hardmod, so anyone willing to take that risk is running the brick risk of their own choosing.

Are you booting sysnand or emunand with reinand?

i would NOT attempt to get your opt file right now, even with the newer revised guide people are bricking their devices thanks to windows.py not working like it should, so unless you feel like heading into the 80% chance brick storm do NOT try that.

I built it fine on the first try, but I don't fully understand how it all works. Specifically, the firmware files used to compile it. Does it matter which Version my sysnand is? Why would I build with n3ds firmware files, and install that in my o3ds? Can you use this, and the super-duper patched TWL and AGB firms at the same time? If so, I'd like to cold boot into sysnand with sigchecks patched (and TWL and AGB patched), while still being able to launch GW emunand.

Oh... And Iwant to do it on both an O3DS, and an N3DS. Now... Which payload should I be using for sysnand for all of this?

I also compiled in linux without problems, in fact I did the whole issue of compilation from ubuntu 12.04, and windows xorpads theme.

Should A9LH.3DSX be installed while your sysNAND is signature patched, or can you just load the HBL and install it without having to run miniPasta or something?

Just install in HBL while in sysNAND, but create a NAND backup beforehand

I'll be sending my 3DS to hundshamer sometime during the next week for a hardmod, I already have multiple NAND backups of my 3DS, so I guess I'll be attempting this, as Menuhax's yellow screen freeze has probably caused more than it's fair share of frustrations.

On New 3DS, it also provides working Super Stable 3D out of the box, regardless of sysNAND CFW or emuNAND CFW. But otherwise, that's about right. We won't really start seeing cool stuff like BootMii/boot menus until they figure out how to turn the graphics chip and LCD screens on.
