After owning a fully hackable psp 2000 I am wondering what can't a go do in the hackable arena? My memory says that they could not have cfw installed completely etc. would someone mind post the major differences, thanks, Myth

At this point there's no major differences in the area of CFW or homebrew, at least not for anything that matters (unless you want to use your PSP as a TV remote via IR). The only downfall of the PSPgo in the homebrew/hacks/CFW field is that it has limited storage. 16GB onboard (which is shared with the system) with a proprietary M2 card slot for up to another 16GB. As far as I know, no one has hardmodded a PSPgo to take anything other than the M2 card and there are no microSD adapters. Honestly, your best bet is to deal with a slightly more bulky portable and get a 2000 or 3000 model instead and a huge microSD card (64GB or 128GB would be a good choice) with an MSDUO Pro adapter (and don't get one of those adapters with two microSD card slots, get a single-slot adapter).

PSP go can use those micro sd adapters too but need a little effort with hard modding.

eh why?

16 gb is tons of space to be honest. if you're that guy that needs to carry his entire collection, but play none of them, go for it I guess

My PSP makes up my entire Sony collection. It's the only thing of theirs I've enjoyed, so I have a lot for it. I may not have played EVERYTHING on it yet, but that's the point of a collection, to have the next great thing on your list ready to go. Your comment, to be honest, is just shy of dickish, sorry to say. Unless it's blatantly stupid (which sadly happens a lot on the Temp), there's a reason for everything and there are almost as many reasons and ways to do things as there are people.

Head over to wololo.net. There is a prema patch for 6.60-6.61 in the works for all psp 3000 models and up. Including the go

Yeah, I have my 2000 flashed for perma CFW. Glad I rolled the dice on that (though it's not much of a gamble).

Iv had a 2k flashed to permanent cfw and it's without a doubt worth it, my go now patched on 6.20 pro was a wise move as well.

After owning both, I would say the go is superior to the 2k in most ways.

I like the Go, REALLY like it. Had I realized that I could hardmod it to use microSD, I would have kept it instead of getting a 2000.

I agree that the go is more of a short session psp, though it's a better console, however it's two downfalls are probably the most important features, battery replacement and storage. I can agree with you on the topic of needing more storage.

battery replacement is actually pretty easy. just did it myself on mine 2 weeks ago.

Exactly, it's easy. I did it got one of my PSP go but I won't buy any other go battery, I'm running it with a Sony portable charger which is 3000 mAh I advice it to you all.
