So I was installing patched AGB_FIRM on n3DS and went to delete the old one first, since it wasn't working with just an overwrite.

Instead of deleting 0004013820000202 I deleted 0004013820000002 due to being bad at reading.

I think I am correct in this title being a FIRM title, and now I can't launch CFW/emunand of any sort or gateway menu.

The normal system menu works fine, HBL works fine, but launching games just loads forever.

Am I shit outta luck and in need of a hardmod? (I have a 9.2 NAND.bin backup for my system)

If you have a backup of your EmuNAND, use EmuNAND Tool (pc program) or EmuNAND9 to flash the older version back on.

(This is actually why EmuNAND exists: You have the power to do that without a hardmod, because EmuNAND is on your SD card)

Yeah, deleting native firm was probably not the best move. Try to see if you can reinstall that title you deleted with FBI.3dsx.

Luckily I back up every single thing and had the 9.2 cias from 3dnus, installed 0004013820000002.cia and can launch CFW now, Gateway 3dsx launcher still doesn't seem to want to launch, but Reinand works.

Are there any other NAND restoring homebrews?

EDIT: nevermind Gateway finally launched and am restoring NAND right now.
Thanks Zoogie!

If you restored the correct NATIVE FIRM then everything should be back to normal assuming you didn't delete anything else. Run the app in my sig and post the change.log.

I'm thinking you may have to do a downgrade to 9.2 finalize the native firm installation. But run that checker first.

I ran your tool, and found some issues on my "clean" 9.2 NAND (Downgraded from 10.3)

Code:

That's typical. The downgrade packs are still wrong and pakrett's too lazy to fix them so yeah.
You can find those missmatched versions from the old3ds downgrade pack but you can probably live without them.

I did this myself. It was very very difficult to fix.

I had to update my 4.4x SysNAND to 9.7.0-25U with Skylanders, since no softmods or entry points would work, then re-downgrade to 4.2.0-29U, then update back to 9.2x before I got it working properly again.

Not an optimal method, but an alternative one.
