tested on a o3dsxl on 9.2 , updated to 10.5 ; used the program to go to 10.2 and downgrade succefully to 9.2 again
just got a little problem with ctrtool as it was giving me : no valid win 32 application , got one from those 3ds to cia converting tools (attached below)

Well, posts have to be in English, but I guess with English subtitles it should be alright.
This clk-pin is really a pain, but great that you or the maker of the video soldered it without problems, mine is already that damaged from the many soldering that I had to use the pin under the gameslot...
One can also route the cables through the IR-part of the 3DS case, then you can close the case completely.
