Homebrew Working, current DNS number to stop Nintendo updates?????

I searched the Internet in and out and still can't find the current, working DNS number (there will be a person who doesn't understand what that is T-T). IM ONLY LOOKING FOR THE DNS NUMBER THAT WORKS AS OF TODAY. Thank you so much, you lovely people <3.

N3ds emunand can not be updated to the latest FW if you are using RXtools though only GW or reinand

but i don't know why tubehax DNS would not work to block updates

Then don't use rxTools. There is no benefit of using it over ReiNand since the devmenu doesn't even work on the N3DS.

i alreay have rxtools setup i don't know anyhting about reinand and there is supposed to be an update for rxtools to support emunand current fw on n3ds soon i'd rather not mess with what is not really that broken , i can play all roms to date it's not worth the hassle really

It's a matter of dragging and dropping files, just like with rxTools. And no, not all games work on 9.5, at least without spoofing. And I've been hearing that there's gonna be an update for a month now. Either it's coming or it's not. In the meantime, there actually are custom firmwares that support the latest OFW.

didn;t look that sinple to me loooks liek you need to set up and install python on your PC ans do a bunch of other stuff , not really interested

Lolwut? Python is needed for rxTools, the very thing you're backing up. You've obviously not read a God damned thing on the entire subject.

no not on reinand, i saw video and they said you need pyton , when i setup rxtools i downloaded an easy set up pack and i did not need python
i really do not know much about reinand

The video you watched lied. Read the release thread and you'd know. Python is needed for rxTools in order to download "firmware.bin", but since you got a premade pack, it's not necessary.

ok maybe i will eventually check it out even though i dont have a lot of time for this stuff especially since i already have GW and rxtools
( i like to use cfw now because i like to keep my dstwo in the cart slot and not have to ever wory about removing carts)

but it would still be nice to know how to block updates in case N drops another update that is not supported by reinand
also i don't know why he can't use tubehax, i mean doesn't still block updates and let you use online except eshop and youtube app?

A code for a DNS server? That's a new one, I'd imagine you'd having to set that up through the proxy settings.

EDIT: I just saw the post from the poster above me. You mean the server's IP? I think Smealum's is the one most people are using. I just have my router block all that crap for my 3DS's static IP.
